Released in 2012 this special release re-imagines the Lamy 2000 in matte, brushed, stainless steel.

This is the one that started it all. If you had to pick one this would be the definitive Lamy pen. 

Produced, unchanged, for forty years the pen embodies the style maxim of Lamy - that form must follow function. In this mind frame they set out to create a pen that was easy to use,pleasant to hold and, in its simplicity, a beautiful pen to behold. 

The body flows smoothly from nib to end, a subtle curveguiding your fingers to grip correctly without forcing your fingertips. 

This shape extends in to a partial hood over the 14K gold nib, coated with palladium to give it a uniform finish. The entire body is made from stainless steel brushed with thousands of tiny lines to give it a smooth, futuristic style. 

The, in built, piston refill system holds the maximum amount of ink and also means this pen is self cleaning.

A functional pen that still feels like $5000 to write with.

This pen is piston refill so it only uses Lamy bottled ink.
